This is one of my favorite white wines for the summer. Three generations of the Maffini family have been producing this fabulous Fiano. It is fermented in oak barrels and then aged in oak for a short period of 4 months in oak as well. The resulting wine is soft, fresh and intense with minerality. You will find exotic fruits and dried apricots on the nose. It is persistent on the palate with notes of fresh citrus, toasted almonds and wild flowers.
